How do I install Universal Modder?

For Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add rehan-remade/universal-modder followed by /plugin install universal-modder@universal-modder; for Codex, codex plugin marketplace add then codex plugin add; any other agent can clone the repository and start the agent inside it.

To get the standalone um CLI on your PATH anywhere, run uv tool install git+https://github.com/rehan-remade/universal-modder (or pipx install the same URL).

How to

  1. Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add rehan-remade/universal-modder, then /plugin install universal-modder@universal-modder.
  2. Codex: codex plugin marketplace add rehan-remade/universal-modder, then codex plugin add universal-modder@universal-modder.
  3. Gemini CLI: gemini extensions install https://github.com/rehan-remade/universal-modder.
  4. Any other agent: clone the repo and start your agent inside it, or install skills only with npx skills add https://github.com/rehan-remade/universal-modder.
  5. Confirm prerequisites before your first run: Git, Python 3.10+ and ffmpeg; set FAL_KEY only if you want the paid fal asset generation.
